Cracking the problem of low-temperature silage! Straw bundling inner membrane helps you cope with cold challenges

The winter in northern regions is extremely cold, with temperatures often dropping below minus 20 ℃. Silage grass is prone to freezing damage, inner membrane cracking, and other problems, which have become a major problem for farmers. This grass bundling inner membrane designed specifically for low-temperature environments has successfully solved the problem of low-temperature ensiling through special processing techniques, making ensiling work in cold regions no longer difficult.

To cope with the challenge of low temperature, this inner membrane has added a special cold resistant plasticizer to the raw material, allowing it to maintain good flexibility in an environment of minus 30 ℃ without brittle cracking or fracture. At the same time, the sealing performance of the inner membrane is not affected at low temperatures, tightly wrapping the grass bundle to prevent cold air from entering and causing grass frostbite. After using this inner membrane in a pasture in Hulunbuir, Inner Mongolia, even after experiencing a cold wave of minus 25 ℃, the silage grass did not freeze hard or deteriorate. After removing the inner membrane, the grass remained soft and fresh.

In addition, the inner membrane can also assist in low-temperature fermentation. Silage grass has a slow fermentation rate at low temperatures and is prone to incomplete fermentation. This inner membrane has better insulation performance than ordinary inner membranes, which can reduce the heat loss inside the bundle, maintain a suitable fermentation temperature, promote the activity of lactic acid bacteria, and ensure sufficient silage fermentation. After testing, it was found that in an environment of minus 15 ℃, the fermentation and maturation time of silage grass using this inner membrane was only 3 days longer than that at room temperature, while the ordinary inner membrane group required an additional 10 days. For farmers in cold regions, this grass binding inner membrane is not only a "protective garment" for grass, but also a "booster" for low-temperature silage, effectively ensuring the supply of winter feed.
